Search files in Linux as a whole is pretty easy with find command that has a built-in tools finding files larger than a certain size e.g.:

find / -type f -size +10M

In the above example will find all files larger than a certain size which is acceptable but in general we are interested in the entire path of the file separately if you try that in the above example, you will get a lot of error messages because of problems with accessing files or banned for reading. In General, the resolution of the 2 the problem becomes easy with the topping on the top command as follows:

find / -type f -size +10M -exec ls -lh {} \; 2> /dev/null | awk '{ print $NF ": " $5 }'
